Parcel shelf question

Post by Ivor »

OK, mine's not a 100 point Hemi Road Runner, but I'd like to make sure it looks right so I need a bit of info from those of you qualified to hold the Order of the Golden Anorak.

My parcel shelf has just arrived from the States and the top surface finish is simply the textured side of the hardboard material (finished in dark blue, to match the rest of the upholstery).

Does anyone know if that's correct? Mine only had the shabby remains of the parcel shelf, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Sounds right to me, my Charger has gold coloured hardboard and Challenger had green met. coloured hardboard, both with a sort of texture embossed on the upper side of the board. Definatly have no covering material. Would like to see pic of yours just to see what they look like new.

Mines the same. I thought it looked pretty cheap and horrible but it does look better once its in place.

Cheers Matt, mine has the standard sort of criss cross hardboard finish on top and looks like it would be a nightmare to keep clean...I must admit, I was expecting an easy clean vinyl finish.

yeah, got one of those for my old challenger, i was a bit dissapointed when it came as i could have made one out of hardboard myself, and did do when it came to the rear seat devider.
