brake drums

is it ok to have brake drums skimmed to clean up ridges etc and if so is there a recommended minimum thickness to go to.

Max figure is 060" oversize. If they're not more than .oo6" out of true,clean them but don't reface.

don't think there out or true steve just a bit ridged,bit more than a rub with emery paper.any figures for stock diameter so i know where im at.
