Well, I have to say i was quite impressed by the show, first i've done in a few years now, forgotten how many people you loose touch with when ya miss the show circuit,
Great to see Steve Case' challenger in the flesh, awesome car to say the least, the detail alone......

also great to bump into 'Steve' (in the hat), dunno if he reads this or not, but i aint seen him since the 2001 nats, first got aquainted when he and his lass sat in the back of my 70 b'cuda during a burnout at hickstead, the 4 of us choking on smoke !! he must've been 17 or 18 then, and now at 25 he's still into mopar !! way to go Steve !
Anyways, good to see ya'll, will chuck some pics up later,

Trev, can i have my emery paper back ??!! if you knew the trouble i went thru at work to get that.......... !! :

PS,

got my first ever telling off in Pinkie !!

i stabbed the throttle as i went to the end of the road to turn round, literally stabbed it, broke the rear tyres loose for a second, barely, and then had Mr Jobsworth jump out fom nowhere, who proceeded to chase me to the end of the road to tell me about a 15mph limit which i'd be amazed about if i hit ! reckoned he'd kick me off site for speeding, mentioned the fact i was leaving anyways and returned to the trailer to a solo applause !

And she looks darn good in that picture ;)

Hope everyone made it home in one piece ... wish I could have gone :(

I'm having to do a very tight turn-around on Connected, so photos and anecdotes gratefully recieved - please email me if you like, as it's nice to have some stuff in that hasn't already been seen here! I'll put as much as will fit into this issue, and more in the next one.

Thanks for the compliments guys,

Dave, that pic is awesome,

i think i've been taking pinkie for granted a little, she looks so cool in that pic, she looks great in the metal, i'll agree, but when that sun is shining at the wrong angle, she can appear all of her 33 years old, 33 years of britain, i think if i keep her long enuff she;ll be in line for some fresh pink skin, and i never realised how low she was, i mean, i know she scrapes the trailer on the way up but that grass was only 2" long and she's near in it !!

and further to my comment above, re my telling off  , in general the marshalls did a great job, makes a change from the usual organised chaos at most shows ! well done all (except blakey who told me off).

You can find a bigger version (1MB) here http://mysite.freeserve.com/davepix/Pinkie.jpg

and one of Steve Case's front end http://mysite.freeserve.com/davepix/Steve_Case.jpg

but the highlight of the day for me was Will throwing the enormous Fury around in the King's Road like it was a hatch-back! Then he goes speeding past sat up on top on the head-rests...see pic!!

Sorry I had to leave and miss out on the last bit of the cruise. Shame we all got chucked out of the park at the beginning. I'll post some more piccies later.
