Anyone use it in the workshop? Gonna try the Power cleaner Degreaser on some engine parts.

It don't work on cookers.... :roll: Scrub all those small parts in paraffin and then put 'em through the dishwasher,mind she don't catch ya! :runaway!: :violent1:

:thumbright: Paraffin is the dogs ain't it! 8-) paraffin gun on my compressor is great for block cleaning 8-)

Dunno about Cilit Bang, but Citric Acid crystals mixed with water removes rust a treat. ;)

Forgive me if someone has already posted something like this. I've never used this method myself, but know people who have and they reckon it actually works for rust.

That's interesting Spurs...all I need is a bath about 17 feet long and 7 feet wide and I'll be laughing! :thumbright:

Kev- Grimex- I.C. 236700 - best cleaning product known to man (well, BT engineer anyhoo...)
Will shift brake dust, any oil/grease inc super-sticky chain lube, bird poop & general road grime.

On that Cilit Bang ad I could never work out how a rubber hose went rusty?

I invest 25 quid and give my local machine shop all my bits, he lets me put them in the acid tank for a couple of days then run them through the hot wash afterwards. After that there is little left that a gentle scrub won't remove. All oil galleries are easily cleaned with a quick blast from the parrafin gun after that.
