can anyone tell me what the speckled spray coating in the boot is called and where to get it.

I am pretty sure Frosts do a similar paint. Have a flick though their site.

I sprayed mine with underseal/sound deadener before paint. It was like underseal that was stripped off, but black, this stuff I used was white so it wouldnt bleed through the paint. I was just trying to imitate the factory look with modern materials.

I believe this was done to stop the panal from rattling !

john can you tell me what was the white underseal you used was as i have striped mine off and need to redo it. (nice job by the way)
im making my trunk floor out of a sheet of steel as no reproduction made for c bodies. :roll:
