Hi , i am looking to paint the duster in the new year and i wont to know the best and easyest way to get the paint of.

A ten inch 80 grit disk on an air polisher!

Leave it in my road for a couple of days, if it's still there, there will be some paint stripped applied carefully to the hood or roof.

nitromors and wire wool

also leaves you with no finger prints if you fancy a life of crime

or some kind of blasting attachment but use plastic or glass beads or aluminium oxide

sharp sand or grit will nack it

Mitch, in case you thought I was winding you up, the ten inch disks that go onto an air polisher are superb.

The polisher runs pretty slow so the disk shifts the paint like there's no tomorrow and doesn't burn or melt the paint, what's more, the paint comes off like swarf, not dust.

I think 3M still make 'em called strippit disks I think and I did the entire outside of a car in six hours...I hope you can still get 'em, because I'll be needing some more soon!

i use a wire wheel on the angle grinder or a wire cup i buy them cheap from auto jumbles b n q charge a fortune make sure you wear goggles an gloves tho

Anyone got a tip for removing the undercoat from round an earth hole/point without skimming away into the (semi) good paint? It's the toughest stuff in the world, ain't it????
