thats the thing, my man swears by it, does all the run of the mill stuff on his machine but does his own wheels on this :thumbright: he has offered to lend me it when i get the dart sorted so i can take it to race meets with me (diamond geezer)

just seen this, why balance them? we never had the wheels balanced when we fit the new tyres on the beeper (or when we had new ones fitted on the belv for that matter as no one could fit the 12 in slicks on round here) , and my old man has never complained, with all the shakin etc from the motor you can hardly tell if the wheels are slightly out on the back :mytwocents:

Well as i said, I have been running around on two unballanced rear wheels for that very reason.

However, after much work removing vibrations on the car, I still have one last vibration between 54-56mph to get rid of and the only thing I have never checked is the rear wheels.

I might treat myself to one of these;

i have never had slicks balanced either but i had terrible vibrations and what must have been tyre shake last time out with the blue car so have another set off slicks on and thought it can do no harm to balance them if i can get it done ;)

Last time i had some big stuff done i went to a local place that dealt with lorrys, they had no problem, might be worth asking!
