Side scoop option on '70 Barracuda?

This is a new one on me, never seen this option or paint treatment before, just when you thought you'd seen everything....

Now. That is interesting. It has jarred my memory about something a saw once.
I seem to remember I used to have a picture of one and because it was blacked out along the bottom I couldn't tell if there was a scoop there or maybe just a trick of the light. But it did look like some sort of scoop. I figured if it was there it must have been an owner applied thing.

Obviously not! :)

That's a new one on me too. I can't say i have ever seen (or just not noticed) them. That'll teach me to look closer at Barracuda's.

I think i remember the photo where I thought I could see a scoop. I just have to find it now. :roll:

I have a feeling I posted the photo in my car thread on here a while ago. But there are a lot of photos missing now. We lost a lot when the board moved ISPs.
