8 & 3/4 interchage question

Post by MilesnMiles »

Guys, i know that any 8.75 centre section can be used in the axle housing. My question is, do different centre sections (741,742,489) have different spline/axle applications?
Put simply, can I swap a 489 into my housing and bolt the axles staright up? Currently have a 741 centre.
