Wheel stud replacement

What is the best method in replacing my wheel studs.

Having removed the the original studs from one of my half shafts, the new ones dont seem to want to go back that easily

have popped the old ones back in for now....

Wanted to check what is the best way, before gettin into a club hammer frenzy

They will be an interference fit mate. Stick em in the freezer overnight. Heat up the half shaft boss, then pop em in,

Can you draw them in using an old wheel nut and spacer?

failing that what about a bloody big hammer, dont that fix everything if all else fails?????

I did what Kev suggested, just did one at a time to make sure I didn't end up with no studs at all.

The studs have small splines (i.e. are knurled) and are supposed to cut into the metal as they are drawn in so they stay put!

dusty, you need lots of lube and cold studs in a warm hole(not a problem for an essex boy). if you get a problem let me know.
are the studs correct for your shafts, ive had some (suposedly correct) thay just wont fit (even with a BIG hammer). pop round with the car and studs, im sure we can sort it
