Bright tail lights

Post by Anonymous »

Hi all! Could anyone give me any ideas on the best way to refurb my tail light lenses? I have seen before and after shots from some of our members and they can turn out like new. :help:

if its the lenses

they need a polish
clean em

then use a very mild abrasive like on a nice soft duster

Brasso

smokers toothpaste

or T cut for glass

try a little bit on a edge to see if it melts the plastic first

just sit and fiddle while ya watch the telly for a few nights

all spanky new by the weekend

if its the reflectors they really need to be re silvred chrome and chrome piant may work but.......its best to do it once and right and never touch the silvering from that point on. acid in finger prints Nacks it

Silver isn't the best thing for the reflectors.

Gloss white paint is best.

All the best
