Plenty of fun to be had before, during, after and whilst getting it how you want it to be. Mine's nearly as i want after two years - if I was to offer one bit of advice it would be make a list of want you want to do to the car, prioritise the jobs on the basis of cost or time (unless you are lucky enough to have oodles of both) and think about the order of progress. There's an old motto - measure twice, cut once.
All the best
All the best

Thanks for the support peeps! It ain't gonna be orange! No offence to anyone, but General Lee's have been done to death. More Bullitt, but a custom colour (black, blue ish). Some good advice from you all. Will be careful measuring, won't spend a fortune (I hope), small bits will be done, but the big resto will have to wait until I've collected all the parts. Magnum Force front ends ain't cheap, but it'll be worth it. Adam68's 440 is tempting, but the motor will have to wait for now. Getting the body straight and rust free is number one on my list. New scuttle, tail panel, rear quarters, trunk floor, it all needs to be replaced. Interior next, with front high-backs, and a custom rear seat to match. Dash, as well as dash pad, needs work. Remortgage. Engine, high stall converter, box. Remortgage again. Disc brakes all round. Sell house.

I'll do my best to make it Simon, but Swindon and back might be asking a bit much of the old girl to begin with! Once I know it's gonna be reliable, I'll be there. Congrats Mark, good luck with the new toy
Just enjoy it abit before you tear it apart though.
If you want some advice with spending money, then give it to me, I'll soon spend it for you
Only kidding m8, but advice for buying panels is, save your money, get them all at once, and buy from Neil (Wil on here). You'll get a better deal with shipping with the more panels you buy in 1 go. Especially when it comes to buying the rear quarters.
He's also 1 of the cheapest over here too !!
I should know, I've just bought most of the panels that you are looking for for mine
Good luck with it mate
And enjoy the strip down too. Just remember where everything goes when you put it all back together
