Waited a long time to make this post...

Ladies and gents of the MMA pets thread - this is the latest addition to our household - "Hemi". (yes, I know its Kevs cats name too , but its a greyhound. They're fast. Plus the wife agreed I could ! :) )

She is one of the lucky 10% that make it past racing into retirement. She had been in the shelter looking for a home for about a year, and seemed to be the right one for us. 24hrs in, she is settling down - nervous but very affectionate. More pics as I get them.

PS - Plus when she comes to shows next year and people say 'Nice Charger, is it a big block ?' I can say 'Nah - its got a Hemi in it'. :lol:

Morgan , hemi looks like a loverly dog, a friend of mine has 3 greyhounds from rescue, all were a little nervous to start with (especialy arround strangers) but now are loverly affectionate dogs. look forward to stroking a hemi s at a show next year :thumbright:

Female is a Jill . Thats what we call them here :? Over the years owned & bred loads of them , Hobs & Jills...make fantastic pets too :thumbright:

Got four , two boys two girls , 4 months old , great house pets , soooooo much character , they don't bite either , maybe a playful nip , the wife won't go near them. :D

The white male is MASSIVE , will get some pics up , not everyones cuppa tea though. :roll:
