I was using Indy Cylinder Head rockers (Blue anodised) but these Hughes Engines ones pictured came up for sale (used) on here so I snapped them up because of their better shafts, hold-downs, spacers, strength, oiling and geometry.Phill440 wrote:Dave, out of interest what make are your roller rockers??
I have moved to solid lifters so i wanted the best rockers I could afford.

On mine I was told to shoot for 15thou max. But what the min clearence is i don't know. I would turn the engine over a couple of times and check that the spacers between rockers will spin by hand OK. But 10thou sounds OK to me.Julian wrote:Right, I've made ally tube spacers up now, I've guessed at about 10 thou end play, (should be OK?)
