I like Bentley's, a good friend of mine from uni is an engine designer at Crewe. His first job when he went there was running the V8's and W's until they went pop, then taking them apart to see what broke! Awsome job. Second only to the guy who fires frozen chickens at jet engines! Some of those engines they test up there are making 1000 Nm torque! Pretty impressive for a 'run the kids to school in Chelsea' car.

My boss has a lovely '29 he's just restored, and the other week he was driving me round Mooresville in his original '26 Model T (that was an experience!) And he even gave me a job, (just goes to show that even us guys driving Aussie Chargers can get on in life).

Personally I'd still take a 404-406 Bristol and if money was no object I'd be driving a Bristol Fighter to work. Those guys had the balls to do to the Viper engine what Chrysler should have, and even more balls to refuse to let any of the media touch it.

It is a Mopar? Like Dave said - a Cousin.
I couldn't afford a Jensen or a real Mopar when I bought my 318 Oz Charger in 1982. The Charger was only £500.
a low price does not make it any less of a Mopar

and that £500 could be £10K now if you can find someone to ship it back

you are now looking at £60-£80k price tag for an e38/e49 aussie RT. The knock on effect to all other aussie chargers has been quite dramatic

Its Aussie and its Mopar

tis only here where they are treated with contempt :thumbright:

Oh I would have another one Dave. I had more fun in that car than any car I have ever been in. :thumbright:

But I also had the most frustration with keeping on top of the rust. :(

No way is it a MOPAR. A handbuilt English gentlemans sports tourer that just happens to use a MOPAR engine and trans, simply because there was nothing made in England that would do the job. :D

And it's dog ugly in my opinion. The fronts ok'ish but the back end is all wrong and does not go with the lines of the car at all!
