Well, new home, new car, maybe new job ... seems like I've got a whole new life!
Helping to prove you don't have to spend more than £1500 on a car there's this, for the princely sum of £800. 1.6 16v SOHC Honda D16A6 engine, 7K redline with enough torque to pull up a 1/6 gradient in 5th at 1000rpm. Its nippy and on the drive to work I'm burning next to no fuel
In case you're wondering, moving house and swapping car insurance at the same time ain't such a brilliant idea
But yes, its mostly working to have cleared the decks all in one go ... I'm also clearing a lot of my stuff out (will be putting some Yank stuff up for sale here soon!).
looks like a good 'un. a smart and economical car for the money.
Always best to do it in one go - I changed careers and moved house to a renovation project last year. Got it all out of the way.......
Good luck to you James,
Nick
T tops/7 spokes and the 2 litre bonet bulge too. Top banana James..Was driving a similar Civic today and you can miss out 1 or 2 gears wherever you like and still not strain the motor. 1st to 4th/3rd to 5th etc no probs.....
It's nippy, the twin-cam version of the same engine is q good bit quicker. It'll probably run somewhere in the 16s (more than enough for a daily ) ... I'll give it a bash at York in due course
There's a couple of bits to sort out, but they're trivial. Anywho, certainly feels like I'm on track life-wise now, the future's bright
