Jerry , get the block sonic checked before you carry out any machine work , it's a must.

The 5 twelve will get you in the twelves no problem , take a look @ some of the builds over on dodge charger .com , they've already done the work for you. ;)

4500 lbs is heavy , as has been said by Dunc & a few others , that 83/4 aint gonna last long with the weight your gonna be moving , especialy if it hooks hard on the stickys , better add a dana to your christmas list. :D

Adopt a "break it, then replace it" approach. it is very hard to build a bullet proof car, cos on balance everything can break :shock:

Just buy Ray's recovery truck for the price of a Dana ;)
