Where's Charlene been? (Cornwall quiz 1 of 2)

Post by Gas for GOSH »

Picture quiz of some of the places in Cornwall I have been with Charlene: can any of the Cornwall Squadron, or other South West visitors, get all ten? Five on this thread, five on the next all being well.

Oh, by the way, HAPPY CHRISTMAS One and All... :)

Mad Machs takes a 3 point lead so far - all correct. Nice try Kev but the big golf ball is RAF Portreath. Another nice try Darran but wrong bit of coastline: it is south coast though and I sure wouldnt be the only car in the picture if I took the picture in the summer.

I'm going to give Darran and Miles a point each here - it's actually Pendower beach so you are both close enough. Watch out if you go surfing off Gerrans next year Miles - you seen the plans to build a massive sub sea wreck as a diving school?

Mad Machs is still in the lead though boys.

Only a point Simon, blimey one road in, no roads out! Certainly looked different with 70 mph winds on it the other week :roll:

Just to finish this one off:

1= Victoria inn, Roche
2= Burngullow China Clay Driers
3= RAF Portreath
4= Pendower beach
5= Truro Cathedral

Miles - hopefully it won't be 70mph winds at Pendower on New Year's Day: that's where we go for what is now a traditional first morning swim...don't ask me why :drunken:
