Eddy heads

Pete , going by the info i've picked up regards the 540 stroker intended for the Pit , the head flow wants to be around 330 cfm , not enough or boarderline with the eddy heads , even when ported.

This is a rule of thumb calculation by 'Ole Smokey' , something to bear in mind.

Hoping someone will disagree , as i've got a set of eddys that i wanted to use on the stroker.

The best Eddy come via Indy, bare castings they ported, polished and build to your specs, Indy spec valves, springs etc
Indybrocks as they are known, i would guess they will do the new Victors too Adam :thumbright:

CNC ported RPM heads flow 320 cfm at .600 and are adequate on engines up to 500 or so cubes, bigger motors would need ported SR's or 440-1's.

I dont know what you're trying to achieve, i do know you have all the right parts to go fast, i.e, light car, good cam, old school but a proven power maker, 2 sets of good heads, good intake and decent carbs, all you need is plenty of compression and a decent oiling system, put it all together and frighten your self.
