after realising Ive just bought the wrong size fuel line, ive also realise that my holley blue pump @110gph is probably is bit on the wee size so was looking at holley black top 140gph
but found summits own 140gph, much cheaper, are they any good ?

The sumiit pump is just their version of a Holley pump, never heard anything bad about them.andyrob wrote:after realising Ive just bought the wrong size fuel line, ive also realise that my holley blue pump @110gph is probably is bit on the wee size so was looking at holley black top 140gph

The aeromotive is for EFI, hence the 45psi rating.
If you are pumping to much volume, more than required you will have dead head as you described. Also the pump is working harder unneccessarily, which can cause the pump to overheat or reduce life.
cheers mark
think I will buy the summit 140gph
they do a bargain kit with this pump but only -6 AN pipe, after what we all just said, that pipes too small to get the best out of the pump
check it out at:

Personally, I would not go for a kit. I prefer to order exactly what I need. The problem I find with kits is that you invariably you end up with fittings you don't need & don't have the fittings you want.andyrob wrote:cheers mark
