I'd go with Kev. A rain drop forms as a result of the interaction between gravity and air resistance and has almost no wake.

I'd agree with that!

A Cessna gets airboune @ 75 mph, or 45 when into a 30mph head wind

Different factor there Budgie, that's CL (Lift Coefficient) which in turn creates drag.

Ok a rain drop will break up at speed so its aerodynamics are pants at speed.
National Geographic, surely know what they are talking about ????
It was what they quoted !!

With its strange skin like feather coat, and Torpedo like shape in the water, from its tiny point beak to its back end this thing is virtually.... natures belly tank, only better :D

A box fish has a aerodynamic drag of 0.06

NOT a raindrop.
A raindrop ain't the famous 'rain drop' shape you think it is but is pushed by air resistance into the same shape as a red blood cell.

I'd go with the Penguin. If a Leopard seal was on my ass i reckon i'd evolve into the slipperiest thing on earth too
No-one will believe you...
