Out for a spin

Post by BUDGIE »

Weather was good so Mike and I went out for a blast and a pint today ;) ( Rich, where were ya son :? )

Very nice it was to, that Runner is real nasty now with the 500 stroker installed, sounded awesome :thumbright:

We had a little race up the duel carriage way and at around 60mph Mike lost traction ( changing gear ) and went a bit sideways right in front of me :pale: ......them Coopers just can't handle that power :help: :flush:

Great to get out for a thrash around, clocked up 35 miles and ate a new Impretsa for lunch along me way

A couple of pic's..........

Nice to meet up Mal, lost count of the times the car's been sideways since fitting that motor but good fun. Made a nice change from being out on me own and the Torino looked mean in the mirror.

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

I had an 8-track in my old aussie Charger. I have fond memories of racing a bloke in a soft top '68 baccaruda down the A3 past Kingston, listening to the Carpenters! 'Why do birds suddenly appear...' at 130 mph in the outside lane of the very narrow 3 lane carriageway, was bizzarre...

Steve, I think there's been enough talk about carbs lately so I'm saying nothing.
