found another :thumbright: santapod 89 or 90 , defo was running nitrous , as the guy had the bottle mounted down at back of the drivers set between the door & seat some how .... i was there when it ran 11.89 give or take , but still can't remember the guys name .....he told me about tony Dixon , just up the road from me . even rung him up to get the address of gasoline ally ,

Don't think he'll be too happy knowing it was running gas , thing you've upset him now Steve, he always thought it was NA , never understanding why he could'nt get it to run 11s.

thought so,
speed and times on our types off cars really have stepped up the last few yrs 11 sec quarters used to be somethin to marvel at now they seem bloody slow 10 secs and quicker seems the norm

I wonder if Alan has changed the wheels (from the first photo) they look very similar to the set I saw on his motor just recently. (only more polished) Al, looking forward to seeing this secret- weapon-engine....

He got it "age related" Back then when a car was imported it got a "current date" plate.
