Got my Charger!

Post by Gringo »

Finally picked up my Charger from TonyO today. Well pleased. :D
I want to try and find out some history. It's current reg is WGC 372F, but it used to be VRV 567K when it was first imported. An old registration document seems to imply it has been in the UK since '76, and shows a change of owner 1.7.82. It's been around Farnborough, and then the Bordon area ever since. It use to be black according to the reg doc. Was a 318, but at some point had a 383 fitted.

If anyone can help out it would be much appreciated. :thumbright:

P.S. If anyone has got any spare parts lying around that they don't need, donations will be gratefully received (doesn't matter what you've got, I need it!).

He didn't have a great deal of history as it happens. But he did have the old reg docs with details of the owners back in the eighties. He actually suggested starting a thread to see if anyone knew the car. :read2:

Thanks Pete, are you giving them away?

Just about every bit of trim, quite a few body panels, and most of the interior needs replacing. Oh, and the engine and box at a later date. And the brakes. And the suspension. And the steering. Once I've replaced everything, I'll probably have a spare knackered Charger left over.
