Well, I think from now on I will be entering all of my cars into Coy's classic auctions.
The standard of these cars can at best be described as "driver"quality only, having had what looked like typical US paint jobs  The red R/T Charger in particular was "bitty" with parts missing and trim coming adrift here and there :( The blue R/T Charger had better paint but had been "hot rodded" somewhat and should have effected it's value (but didn't) Both these two made close to £22k inc the 15% commission

The black Cuda notch looked a pretty average car in the flesh, nothing special just good user quality, this car got bid to £14.5 = no sale

The "original" Super Bee was mostly that, but had taken a poor paint job at sometime with rust breaking out on the rear end and under the vinyl on the pillars :( We all guessed more or less the same value, didn't sell

The Dart was a nicely done "hot rod" with a superb paint job, but all said and done rods are not every ones cuppa. Hard to value a car like this having had a shed load of dollars thrown at it, but........17k

The sublime Cuda was probably the best of the bunch but by no means a "minter" Very straight and clean but not correct in many departments, none the less I think the best out of the MoPar bunch. Even so, not worth over £14,600+com

The blue GTO was very nice and probably the best of the lot :? £20k+com

The Mustang Fastback actually looked better than it was  this made £18k+com

I don't know who was paying this sort of dosh for these cars but I hope they haven't bought them for profit........there gonna be in for a rude awakening me thinks :?

BTW........ Amazing how well they look in the pictures

Like you say there is a big ol market outside the MMA

Dont seem to be any rules with muscle car prices- seen some crap cars sell for top money this year and some great cars stick at good prices

No Mark, but I know the owner. The car didn't get a bid so I am now in a stronger bargaining position ;) Although I have to say, I was not that impressed with it really :?

Thanks for the report Mal, interesting and insightful :thumbright:

I do like the look of that Bee, would be pretty rare if the tan roof is correct. Gotta love the bungee cord holding the battery down on the Cuda

Exactly Adam, this was typical of this group of cars

The tan roof is correct as is the interior=all untouched 8-) you could use as is for years but the rot is deffo under that vinyl and the paint is real crap with rust coming out on the top of the rear wings, like I said, looks very different in the flesh :( ( still 8-) car though ;) )
