Barracuda emblems...

Post by Anonymous »

Hello chaps, I'm looking for the emblems for my car. As far as I'm aware the correct badges are these, (thanks andy) Which is a 'barracuda' script with a smaller fish emblem underneath.

But if I look on year one, they only have the script under the '67 parts bit, and only seem to have the fish in a ring, which is wrong.

E-bay threw up these,

but I only have holes in one fender, if he's selling a pair then maybe they're wrong, and why the hell is one bigger than the other?

Just found these,

$45 seems a bit steep, and it another pair!

Any know if these e-bay things are worth bidding for (I fear e-bay)?

buy em !! for that money you'd be daft not to, i have a pair but the rear pins are not all their, i'd stil want ?15 for them, as for the fish emblem, i only remember one being on my 69 and that was on the rear panel on the trunk lid, don't think i've ever seen om on the wings when i've broken a car,

if ya want them they're yours, the fish are there to i think, but again, on one of the fish, one of the studs is only about half length, they're not all like new, they've come from cars i've broken in the past, ?25 for both emblems and the pair of fish, ?2.50 postage.

ebay might be better in all honesty !!

ps, one is not bigger than the other, one s just closer !!!!!

the barracuda script is in here somewhere...........

I'll take 'em, those e-bay ones are US shipping only, and I reckon I can repair them studs, and I'd rather support a club member than a , er non club member... Cheers.

the fish are a bit scuffed, but in all they're not too bad for 36yr old alloy !

Maybe you guys were looking for the wrong thing?

A mate of mine found this on ebay the other day. You just cannot believe how thick some people are.

"MOPAR E-BODY CHALLENGER EMBLEM, CHROME IS NICE. MAY BE THE SAME ITEM ON OTHER MOPARS BUT THIS CAME OFF A DODGE CHALLENGER FENDER."
