There used to be a black 68/69 barracuda that used to sit on a drive in worcester park , surrey , last time i went past i thik he had sold it and a chevy was sitting in it`s place , this was about 2-3 yrs ago.
1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Wimbledon White. Currently a 302 auto but to be 410 4 speed.

cheers for the pics!amazing how a car changes over the years.great news, i made contact with the guy i sold it to-after a bit of searching i phoned his nan and get this-he still has it :o spoke to his wife last night and its exactly as it was when i sold it to him 8-) the car is still local but has not run for a few years :( hopefully gonna be able to see it soon so watch this space ;) its almost 20 years to the month since i first had the car :o i feel all excited :lol:

thanks to you guys who first started this thread :thumbright:

Think that must be the car I saw race Pete Haywood (Petes Parts Parlour)down the mad mile one night (about 20 years ago) for a bet. Saw him chuck the glass hood in the bushes and stick a timing light on it before pulling up to the lights. Quick car though.

Looking at the pictures of the charger CHP 590K it looks as though it was registered originally in or around Coventry, good chance it was either sold locally here in the area or an ex factory car.

steve,yeah i hope its still as good but from what his wife said i dont think he will let go of it :cry: be nice just to see it again maybe even help him get it on the road again for the nats 8-)

blimey,another blast from the past jpc :lol: were you in that old building in borehamwood?it was done at the same time as a black charger.i remember the guy working with you had a nightmare with the fibreglass bonnet! its a small world.
