:iagree: but maybe some mod could move them to the archive so they're easier to find in future....or is that just for old event photos :?:

I seem to remember thats why/when the Archive section (in Events) was created. But that was when we were posting mainly old event pics, rather than just old pics of individual cars....

:idea1: Unless we have a new archive for individual cars as opposed to events :-k

It would be fantastic if we could crate a data base with the pictures catalogued by registration number, with a search facility. I realise that would be a huge task, and perhaps not even possible, but I'd be willing to help out doing it. What an archive that would be, a photographic record of most of the mopars that had ever been in the country....

I know somebody here who could do that...but I know for a fact that he's rather busy at the moment!

Superb idea though. :thumbright:

Who are you talking about Ivor????

Funny you should say that but such a database exists: http://www.wheresmyclassic.com

Don't you remember I built it 5 years ago.

However I would be interested in building a new/better/bespoke database if others are willing to collate the material and help populate it. Are you up for it then Blue?

It wouldn't be an overnight job though, like Ivor say's I'm a bit busy at the moment (I presume you meant me Ivor).

:thumbright: :notworthy: yep that would be a great idea , documenting the re- registrations on age related plates , , as thats how some of these cars have seemed to of vanished i think . would be good if we could access it on here for members only , like tap in reg colour model , etc & it will cross match with any plate/ colour changes , & the towns/ or county it has been registered in :thumbright: :read2: , :thumbright: :atthemovies:
