Last one. I'm under no illusions. I knew what I was buying. I'll keep it on the road for 18 months - 2 years while I collect the parts for a full resto. Soon as I've got the parts and the money, the fun begins.

I was real lucky as there was no rot whatsoever on mine , still took me 9 months to completly strip , paint & assemble , good thing really as it did'nt give the wifey a chance to get the divorce papers together.

Make your mind up from the offset on what way you wanna go with it , cos it can take a lifetime & a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

that's true & it has been over here in British weather for so long ...... true also what Ciivey, at least you have one now , they are making more re-pop sheet metal all the time

You're right Steveo. It might have been over here since the early seventies. So at one time it was white, and I've got old reg docs saying it was black. It only went red last year I think. All things considered, it's coped with our weather pretty well.

I'm wrong. I've just found more documentation saying it was red as far back as 1995.

It was only resprayed last year though.
