Blimey, That takes me back, Mike Lintern was still "working" downstairs from me at Link House in Croydon at the time, I think he still had the '56 police Chevy at the time and I remember that car parked there like it was yesterday...I was buying my first Snap on tools direct from Mike and the guys at American Autoparts at the time.

I certainly couldn't afford a bird then, I was about 20 then I suppose and if I remember rightly I had the Chevy powered Cresta gasser.

Tell you what, "Mr Runner" these pics are really taking me back...looks like we'll have to have the Blue style session around the campfire again at the Nats! :thumbright:
