good to meet you then andy, you sure have some knowledge off this mopar scene from way back when, bet you had some fun superbird and gbh, you lived it fella,, did ian frankilin buy the bird off you, also do you reckon that bird came in from canada or somewhere snowy in the usa , me n b1 bri watched a video old footage off a blue bird in the usa then over in england somewhere early 70,s it was in a procession looked a bit tatty even then?????
If its the same car, it was bought in 70 in canada and brought into ireland in 71 or 72 by a guy called Frank Bell, the footage you saw was of the car in dublin in 72 paddy's day parade, footage was given to Tony O by a mate of mine, i think the car was a 440 with a column shift???? i think, the car had bad repair damage on one of the rear quarters as he hit a pole when he was in canada! I think that footage had 2 superbirds in it, that was in canada when he met another gut with another superbird and did a bit of messing! :thumbright:

Do it

Nurburgring can get expensive though cant it Andy....especially if you have a smash......cost you loads and you have to pay for any damage to the track, and clear up the track too
Cost a friend of mine a mint when he hit a barrier and stuffed his car too

Yes that`s correct Blue, it was raced by Brian Brewer in 75/76. I remember that it had twin rear shocks on each side, (don`t know if it still has the original axel on it or twin shocks) To my Knowllege American Autoparts never owned GBH. :?

Don`t forget that superbird VBY is a white bucket interior, centre console, 440 six pack car. And it sat for years in Ian Franklins lock-up. :read2:

when i bought it, it was a 383 six pack 4 speed 83/4 rear 323 suregrip, no double shocks but the brackets were on the body, orange paint, bench seats burnt orange interior, still missin that front panel and the part at the rear off the hood scoop,
