Wow a magic filter and gasket appeared on my doorstep! Must have been you Pete! Thanks mate! I was at USAutomotive get some parts.
Car is at Joes work... Just got back. Looks like the bottom end may have been rebuilt! All looks spanking new! It is coughing and spluttering. and blasting out white smoke. Joe checked oil level, and it has far too much in it!

So before any major pulling apart, he is going to reduce oil level, change plugs, put new Fuel pump on, clean out lines (this thing don't look like it has been driven in years)! Last tag was 1988!

Then see where we are from there. May put on newer heads from other engine, together with new inlet and holley.

Fingers crossed. Getting excited now, I know it is a real low level Mopar, but still happy to have one again.

I don't think your car is low level..... - I think it has loads of potential, and is damn nice as it is!

Well, it is a tad different to the Coronet. But at least we can drive this a lot more. And as Joe is insured on it as well, might get him back into the fold, I know he misses his 67 Barracuda, big time.

About to rip all the electrics out of the Sox now...
