Yes Duncan, I was there at the beginning,when Walter P Chrysler was born :D I recall that article well. it was when Witt (he owned the Charger) and Alan Gould (he owned the Superbird) went to Brands Hatch for the photo shoot. Thought it was a "Bananarama!" article when it was printed ( apart from the photo`s) full of wrong stats and full of "Bananarama" :evil: :evil:

Think dunc sold his 69 rt se to a fella in Essex me started striping for restoration :

Its changed a bit since. Was red with black vinyl roof when i got it. Also with stripes AND bagdes!

Bananarama! me!!!!! how times have changed....... that photo was taken pre my Superbird days????????? 1975ish... Andy Lay was rebuilding the motor at the time :shock: I`ll dig out some more photo`s later.....Maybe :P

Thought i dig out some paperwork and have a look!

Engine rebuild was in 78 if i may be so bold as to correct you :D

Mucho reciepts for Mr Lay and some bloke called Turkey? in 1978.

Followed later by a Crozier and then a Mark Williams. Who are these people?

Even a reciept for Street Machine in 1981.

Its had more sump gaskets than ive had hot dinners. Guess it leaked oil a lot!
