Ok talks are in motion for a new venue for the LI Diner Meet as it has become too big and there is not enough room to park etc.

Poss new venue is the ex Little Chef on the A46 ( just past Warwick turn off on the way to the M40 ) It is now has a new owner and is called the Auto Grill. Ian ( Black fenderless Pop ) called in after the diner meet and spoke to the owner and he would welcome us warmly

. There may be a trial run soon to have a look and see if it will be a go'er. This place is very close to the Waterman pub for a drink after morning food which should please FatTony and the Noddy's

More info...

Paul ( Red model A Hotrod ) went to the Auto Grill today and had a word with the owner which was good. The carpark will be enlarged next week for extra parking and the Diner is larger with booths so more room to sit and eat lard.

The trial run would be before next month's meet at the LI Diner to check it out.

What do you think of the Auto Grill idea ??????????????????????

Certainly need somewhere, as the turnout at LI Diner is now far too big for the place to handle.

My immediate thought on the A46 venue was lack of parking again, but you just answered that one

There is a concrete area next to the current carpark which is blocked off a the moment. This is due to be opened up for more parking, so looking good.

On site petrol station could be usefull for some.

Poss trial run on Sunday 17th Feb if anyone interested ???
