Slow indicators
If ya fuses are sparking it probably doesn't matter how tight they are in the holders its probably a case of corrosion.
if you have a multimeter measure the voltage between 1 contact at the fuse box and the contact at the other end. (note : not the ends of the fuse itself but the clips it clips into) any voltage measured indicates a resistance across the fuse. i.e it shows how many volts are getting lost across your fuse box.
2 vollts measured across the indicators fuse indicates you are running them on about 10 volts (i.e slow slow slow)
clean the contacts with a file and brasso.
clean the dullness off the fuse ends as well.
you may also like to check the earthing points of your guage pod. the flasher relay also has to run the bulbs in the dash. if i run my car with no guages in it
(do you know how fast you were going sonny....er no officer etc) and no dash
My indicators don't work but my brake lights do.
check also the junction box behind the kick card on the divers side. any ingress of water due to inner wing damage missing hinge bolts or similar in the past can make this junction box nice and flakey
check also using ya volt meter or resistance meter that you have a good earth between the outside of the bulb bayonet shaft and the car body for each blinker.
my fuse box had gone all green and all my lectrics went intermittent after i brought my car to the UK. Stuck my fusebox in a bucket of cola for a week and now everythings just fine.
See ya
