Chellenger Pic

Post by JustinMFox »

Just saw this pic, the old one is a big car but the new one seems huge, that rules me out squeezing one in my garage

Not sure but there almost the same length? think its about 2 inc longer then the early one max so i would guess its about 194/195 inches long?still a bit shorter than BBodys :thumbright:

In that pic they both look the same lenght to me.

The new one is 6 inches longer than the old one according to Wikipedia, it's the same with the new Mustang, they supposed to have modeled it on the 65-68's but my 05 is the same size as my 71 Mustang

Is it about 190 inches long Justin?(your Stangs)

That will make the new Challenger 198 inches long, does that sound right?

Yeah the 05 is virtually exactly the same dimensions as the 71, 188in length, 74in width, the 71 looks bigger though for some reason, must be the long hood

Photographing the two together like that makes you realise how average the new car looks.

And Dumpy.

It needs more doors, and a hatchback..............

I think they need to avoid side comparisons like that. Aside from the fact it's obviously going to drive and last much better I think they missed the mark somewhat in parts of the styling, I would rather have the old one.Should look pretty good in black though.
