gearbox paint/temperatures

Post by Anonymous »

I've degreased the gearbox on the charger, ready for paint. However what kind of temp does the gearbox get to so I can find the appropriate paint to apply? I was thinking black with silver sump, all black or all silver watcha think?

Many thanx

Any old rattle can will do, it dosn't get that hot. Black with a silver pan, done that a few times, in fact just did one a couple of days ago...
