:iagree: In fact, I can't wait to get started again!

Have some fun first though Mark while you're getting the bits together, it'll give you the inspiration not to keep at it, when the old girl is in a million bits! :thumbright:

I have to get a few more bits but am going to California in June so I am hoping to do some shopping there. Plus the guy who is painting the car is going in May so between the two of us we should have it covered.

Who is this Mark that you speak of?

Sorry Rich, I'm losing the plot...I can't even blame it on you having a black Charger!

No bother, just checking. It'll be dark blue eventually, just so I can find it at the meets(!)

That Dave Potts bloke doesn't hang about :thumbright:

Popped in today to see how it was going and my doors, bonnet, boot and front wings were all off and he has gone to town with the grinder and made some discoveries.

Also, turns out my front wings were off a 68 and made up to have the front reflector. There are patches on the inside that plug the hole for the round indicator.

Anyway, lots of filler and a bit of rot but it's all coming off and going to be replaced with lovely new steel. Engine and trans coming out next week.

Watch this space...

If you carry on removing chunks of filler like that, you'll go a second quicker in the quarter! :D

Judging by what has fallen off/out already I'll have enough to make something for the missus to drive ;) or a trailer.

I have managed to save some weight up front (!)

Here's the inside of the front wing, both are off a 68 and he's just plugged the hole and cut out a section to fit the front reflector unit. All that's coming out and fresh metal going in there aswell.

Just ordered new front and rear valence panels plus lower steering column cover and headliner from this place.

I hear good things about them and their prices are very good. Just waiting for them to calculate shipping costs.

Engine is coming out this week.
