Well it turned out to be a wheelie good day
Alan phoned me as usual At 12 midnight and said we are going.
I said I will get up and decide, got up at 3 am, like old men do and the rain was sheeting against the windows and I thought no way.
Alarm went of at 6 30 looked out and Its stopped raining and the sun is coming out.
Rang Al and got him up.
Al turns up at 8 am and wakes all the neighbours again then off to the garage to meet Adam, who to our surprise had actually found it and was there before us.
As Alan was 3 up I jumped in with Adam who was spannering his steering wheel.
What you doing Ad. Oh nothing the steering wheel fell off. Swallow hard and off we go down the M25 to meet up with the crew at the first garage on the A3.
Waited for Scott as usual then set off in convoy to the site.
As we are going in Ad opens his headers and says that he had hurt his back, hurt your back I shouted back.
NO he said there's a Hearse on our back ?
Arrived down on the field and Derek and Scott organised the Mopar flags and we put on a great show.
Well done all those who braved the elements.
After the usual walk and talk we had to get back to pick up big Johns new wheels The chiefs Black R/t Eater.
Look out for the sign that mysteriously appeared on the rear valance of Al car while we followed him spooky.
And the answer to the old chestnut does a bear pee in the woods.
