I re- fitted my front steering today,& I can`t find a proper torque setting for the castlated nuts , the setting it gives is for the tie rods 45 lbs foot , is this right for them all? :read2:

You'll have to be more specific regarding which castellated nuts you are talking about!

I have just replaced my steering knuckles on my 68 Road Runner and these are secured with castellated nuts, but the torque setting for these is 100 ft. lbs for the upper nut and 120 ft. lbs for the 2 lower knuckle bolts which fasten the knuckle to the steering arm.

Torque settings ref my workshop manual.

OK, bearing in mind I'm looking at my '68 Plymouth manual for my Road Runner, I seem to have a figure of 40 ft. lbs. for all the stud nuts on the centre link and the tie rods. I think they are all the same size? This information is found in the front suspension and steering gear sections of the manual.

So it looks like 45 ft. lbs. may be about right for yours!
