Ivor's 64

Post by Ivor »

Just had a call from Mister Benn, who has spent the last hour unloading a ten ton truck with what appears to be an entire Barracuda... in boxes, like a giant Revell kit according to Jon.

With a bit of luck, I'll get some snaps this weekend and get this project up and running.

Just the rolling shell to get down from Scotland now... :drwho:
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

I'm knackered! but at least all Ivor has to do is follow the simple instructions supplied with the Gasser kit, stick part 1 to part 2 remove all sharp edges then stick the assembly to part 3, allow to dry then paint! :D This car is a genuine kit car, it is striped to its component parts. I told the guy picking it up that the rear screen was worth a fortune, so while he nearly froze in his cab last night the screen was safe and sound wrapped in his blanket in the back of the truck :thumbright: Now thats what I call a dedicated driver, willing to give up his life to make sure the goods arrive undamaged.

Yep. Imported in 1968 and pulled apart for a full resto, which never happened and it stood in a shed in Dundee ever since...the owner also had a '57 Cadillac.

Go on Sandy, give me the registration number! ;)

I'll be keeping my eye on it, Sir. Hasn't changed in ages, though. Sheer laziness, I call it, what? :D
