my new (tax exempt) daily :)

Post by Anonymous »

Well, whilst I am waiting for the day I can afford a Mopar again, I thought I would help the saving process, by not giving Gordon Brown any more road tax fund for my daily.

I only drive a couple of miles each way to work, so now here is my daily :)

BIG THANKS to Simon (the Petty) for giving me a lift to fetch it.

Needs tlc, but drives pretty well and everything works.

My old fella had a gold 'E' when I was about twelve. Lookin' at those pictures brings the memorey's flooding back. His was an F plate with the high raised dials on the dash (series 1).

I love it!

At least it's not Silver Fox of Blue Mink...by now all you'd have left is the primer!

thanks :)

this one is flaking in places, and does need some tlc, but it goes.

After so many years of having a classic (my charger) but not being able to drive it, and now with my gt in my garage, waiting to be started on, impatience has crept in.

Amazing how nippy it is around town though, keeps up with the traffic just fine.

I still like the Mk3 better. My Dad had loads of them. They rotted very fast but I used to love them.

I wouldn't mind a Mk3 if I could find one that wasn't rotten.

I can't remember whether or not the Gold ones flaked Woody, but I'm pretty sure I remember that car from around my neck of the woods when it was only a few years old...

Well done , used to ride in me Bros Aubergine 1600 E , was the early one with the raised clocks.
The best one he had was the later silver fox colour , with the clocks like yours.

Edit: was blue minx i think. :?
