If you start spinning the rears, then gently ease the brakes off to the point where they're only just holding the car, the rear brake shoes will be barely touching the drums. Most of the braking force goes through the fronts. Hasn't anyone tried stopping on snow in an auto? If you don't push the brake pedal hard enough, the rear wheels carry on pushing the car along. Bit alarming if you're not aware of it... :shock:

I have mine fitted to the rears , much better & safer too. :thumbright:
