Just sorting the drive train on the Fury, was wondering why are there two different sizes used universal joints on mopars.Is it a case of bigger is better or does it make no difference.

I ran small front, big back through a combination of factors. My new set up will be "giant" (1350 :thumbright: ) The only UJ failure I've seen was on a 3rd Gen Charger. Built to the hilt 440 plus 250hp drugs all in off the line, running in the 11s. Boom! On the green. This was after a good few years of doing the same thing.........

7260 small, Bearing Cap Diameter (in) 1.078 in,
7290 medium, Bearing Cap Diameter (in) 1.125 in
1350 big, Bearing Cap Diameter (in) 1.188 in.

Time to get the calipers out :D
