Andy, I love you!! :love10:

Apart from 1 pic that Kev posted here a while ago from around the time we just bought the car, that's the only pic I've seen of it from before '85.

And in its original Y3 or Y4 gold too :thumbright:

Any idea where the pic was taken, Andy?

PS It's 'just' a Sport Satellite tho, not a RR :?

You can say that again Steve, I'm welling up here  ............. ;)

We were given those wheel covers when we bought the car & still have them, but weren't sure they were off our car as we've never seen them in any ads or on any other cars :?

That GB sticker left a permanemt mark on the bumper even tho it had been removed by the time we got it. Thankfully so had the rear indicators :x

We were told soon after getting the car that JPC had painted the car at some stage, any idea Andy?

Oh, and thanks for the pics, I feel we're even now ;)

Apologies to everyone else, this is turning into a bit of a :arrrmeharties:

Havent heard from the previous owner since we saw him at a Damn Yankees meet at Blake Hall in the late 80's, so I doubt he'll be looking in here.
Not sure if he was the one who changed the colour, but his name was Robert Watson, if memory serves :-k , lived in the Leatherhead/Guilford area.

Ring any bells? ;) :P :help: :thumbright:  :D

Yeah - Rob and Heidi. Haven't seen them in years. Rob had a 55 Chevy at the same time as me, in the 90's. Actually 2 different 55 Chevy's.

You know Rob, you really should return your car to the original colour one day - I like it.
