MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

4 door as well
Two doors have never sold well in Australia, Dunc, hence the coupe Falcons, early Monaros, and even the late Monaros never sold in great numbers.

In the days of the early GT's, it was an expensive, upmarket car, out of the reach financially of teenie boppers, and hence bought by family men who appreciated the four doors.

That has followed the Aus 'musclecar scene' through the years. While the concept of large engined, low(ish) stressed componented cars that can drive huge distances without drama tends to follow the US example (although, with regard to classic musclecars that is all myth. Very few of the old sixties musclecars ever really drove that far back in the day), the actual ownership pattern tends to be more European.

The other factor is that almost every Aus 'musclecar' built by a manufacturer over the years, right from the XR GT, was built to be a race car (and I mean proper race cars that go, stop and turn). This is completely different from the U.S. model of ownership, where the musclecars are basically toys for boys.
