They're going on a '74 Satellite , its got slot mags on at present (hate them) the eventual plan is to have the car sprayed plum crazy along with the wheels . But for now after spending the last year or so digging the rust out I'll just spray it myself to stop it rotting any more and to make it look half decent , plus the powdercoating was free :thumbright: , I hope to have it back on the road in about a month, so I hope to see at some shows this year

Sorry Clivey - the old 'interrupted-by-someone-talking-about-work-while-trying-to-type-a-reply' scenario

I thought I recognised it. I was going to look at that, with the intention of buying it. Wasn't it for sale for some time, with those guys? How is the car?

Well it's your car and all that but.....

Personally I don't like any hubcaps on anything, and the painted steel thing is a difficult look to pull off IMO.

Well Simon the car will be fine soon .I had it on the road for a short while until I realised that there were major rust issues and if didn't sort them I'd be wasting my time. Somebody in its past had done some serious bodgery to hide the rot , most of which are now sorted ie solid metal not pieces of fridge and mastic ,and I realise that it will cost me more than its worth ,but when its eventually done me the missus and the sprogs will enjoy it, and I will have saved an entry level mopar to pass on to some one who wants mopar but can't afford a Challenger/Charger/'cuda etc. And Blue

but what? if your going to tell me it was a rusty bucket of you know what and I shouldn't have touched it with someone elses barge pole well I've kind of realised that, but it is mine and I'm going to stick at it, and maybe one day some of you guys will tell me I've done well :thumbright: praise indeed!
cheers Doug
