Noone?
I just got back.....had a great day out, first time at York and their hospitality was fantastic. Thanks to all the staff and crew for making me most welcome. I will upload a few pics when I sort them out. George Chiles '65 Satellite was a beauty and Pete Youhill took the Power Tour win for this round with his new 582ci monster. It was his first time out with it and he ran a 10.1. As soon as he gets comfortable with it he will be well into the 9's! Ian Z was there in the red Beeper and was putting in some good low 12 passes.
Glad I wasn't at Shakey as it looks like I could easily have been taken out by Kev Slyfield, as he hit my usual snapping spot  Well done to Dave Dicks for standing his ground and getting the shots!
But for now, can you tell me what's going on here?

Good to see u all again. Bad luck to the gerbil, again! Well done Yenko Pete (not even pints of Sledgehammer deterred him from night before) and Dave B (snotted on my bad judgement - with a cool 10.2).

T, twas showery on Sunday but quite warm, Sunday was surprisingly warm with no rain. A lot of new cars and new engines! Spectacular! Welcome to Richard with the ex DM/Alex redlined 6pak beeper, trying out for his first time at the strip.

I was busy as usual, so didnt get full story on the proceedings, hopefully James, Tim and Dave McB can add the detail.

New carb and oil change(!) netted me a PB of 12.28 @110 and fairly consistent 12.3s for a change (track conditions good?). Got couple low 1.7 60fts, but they were running 0-60 times in right lane replacing 60ft line in ticket - 3.78secs 0-60 according to their kit for me.

Thanks to Tim for organising and shepherding. Dave McB was working hard all day too with camera - gonna be some cracking shots.
