Anyone going?.We will be there on our other site club stand, should have the charger there, and also first time out with the altered.Our mate Brock is taking his altered as well, (possibly going to fire them both up, if we are allowed) Our stand will have yanks,rods,chops,trikes. its at the war memorial park, basingstoke.

What a great show, loads of everything,buss,s, trucks,bikes.In our area we had trikes and yanks,2 altereds, and a never ending stream of public looking us over.We fired up the altered a couple of times and people were running over to see what was making all the noise (see story in race section). Brock (steve) fired up his altered a few times as well. It was also the first time we had our team shirts and jackets and they look great. Had an early start (after a late night) to get there, but a good cruise with Steve (65 nova) Joe (1950?dodge pick up) and Perry (55 chevy convertable). Coming home had a set to with a newish Aston db9 (i think), he could,nt pull away from me but i could,nt catch him, got to about 120 when he had enough of the old car showing him up and pulled over and slowed down.Used way too much petrol but worth every penny.
