MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

This car has a 383 in it. It might even be original.
The 67 up Barracuda was built to take big blocks because you could now get the new 396 Camaro and later the 400 Firebird. Ford had the 390 engine and it was going in the Cougar.
So you could order the 383 in the fastback, Coupe and convertible.
The 440 came out in April 1969 as a limited edition model.
All 440 Cudas were hardtops. BS29M9B and BS23M9B.
I can't put my hand on any production numbers at the moment but the notchback was not selling well in 1969 so a 440 version would be very rare.

I like the Notchbacks
i wanted this car when Dave Madders imported her but Brad beat me to it!
I like the 440 Barracuda
but the one for me would be the 340 formula S
There was a Barracuda i used to see around the Nothwest in the late 90s it was a White Fastback and it had a sticker on the front windscreen that said " the Cubic inch club" the car was a 318 motor, was that anyone here? i think the car had Black or Blue Stripes.
This is a lovely Notchback that sometimes turns up in the NW

as far as I can remember; after the fire the insurance put it in storage, only the storage company assumed it was scrap and they were moving it about the place on a fork lift, hence the damage to the door, bananaramas!!Woody wrote:Nice car.
